Shaft dryers are used for drying of all types of cereals, oilseeds, beans, corn. The movement of grain occurs from the top down due to gravity and does not require any energy to advance.
In dryers of continuous operation of a double flow, the grain is advanced by a chain conveyor horizontally with a smooth, thin layer.
